Happy New Year to all and Happy Holidays! I hope your holiday season was filled with lots of love, joy, and smiles! I wish you all nothing but success in 2017 because there are so many amazing things to come!

The first day of this new year my mom, my boyfriend, and I went to New York City for our manhattan adventures. We wanted to see the beautiful Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center and the amazing Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall.

My dad dropped us off at 50th Street and 8th Avenue so we walked up a bit to the tree which is between 5th and 6th Avenue & 49th and 50th Street. Luckily, since it was New Years, there weren’t a ton of people crowded around the ice skating rink. The sight was beautiful no matter how many times I’ve been. This was actually my third time during this holiday season and I could have probably gone another five times and would not have gotten tired of it. I love the holiday spirit and I especially love the beautiful window display that Saks Fifth Avenue puts on during the winter, holiday season.

Radio city music hall

Afterwards, we walked over to Radio City Music Hall which is only two blocks away from the tree. Surprisingly, this was my first time and I thought it was absolutely amazing! You could tell how much hard work and money went into the production of the show. The rockettes are extremely talented and beautiful. They had about 6 dances and the show lasted about 90 minutes. There was also a Santa Clause and a lot of other dancers within the show, while the rockettes changed into their different outfits. The story line was about two boys who wanted to get their little sister a present for Christmas. The younger brother asks Santa for help and I’ll leave the rest up to your imagination. To sum up, I truly thought it was a great show and I am hoping to go see it again next year! I also vlogged my time in New York City, which you can check out below!

All in all, we all had a great time and I’m definitely excited for the next time I get to spend time in New York City. Have you been to NYC and have you seen the Rockettes? Tell me about your NYC experiences below!!

xoxo,

Isabelle
