A New Way to Remove Makeup - Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water

I’ve been looking for a way to remove makeup without using makeup wipes that irritate my skin and cause redness. I’VE FOUND A NEW WAY, after watching Ciaoobelllaxo’s (also known as Meghan) video on YouTube, about the Garnier line.  After watching the video, I had to go pick up this makeup removal product immediately.

I purchased the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water: a clean, easy way to remove your makeup. I specifically bought the water proof version because my mascara can be hard to take off at times. It claims to remove waterproof makeup, cleanse, and refresh the skin. You can use it on your face, lips, and eyes without rinsing or harsh rubbing. It’s even ideal for sensitive skin types, along with all other skin types as well.

First Impression

I started by shaking the bottle and pouring out a bit on a cotton pad to get it saturated. Then I started rubbing the cotton pad into my skin. The product felt very light and easy. I could see my makeup come off instantly on the cotton pad. Surprisingly, it even took off my waterproof mascara.

It takes about 4-7 cotton pads to take off all my makeup with the Garnier product. When using makeup wipes, it would take me about two makeup wipes to completely remove all my makeup.

Overall Review

I found this Garnier Micellar Water to be very easy to use (just saturate a cotton pad and the product works its magic) and easy to remove makeup off. I like how I don’t even have to wash my face after using the product since it is cleansing my skin at the same time as removing the makeup. Your face feels refreshed after using the product. You could even use the Micellar Water after the gym or a hot summer day as a pick-me-up.

If you’re in need of a new way to remove your makeup, I suggest the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water. What’s your favorite way to remove your makeup?
